UToledo’s glass scientist takes a central role in the innovation hub
Dr. Donghui Zhao connects university materials research to the companies that melt glass for a living.
Dr. Donghui Zhao has taken on a new role supporting the Northwest Ohio Glass Innovation Hub, linking the University of Toledo’s materials science work to the manufacturers in the consortium. It is the connective tissue the hub needs: research that reaches a furnace floor instead of stopping at a paper.
